Sara recently talked with CMT Offstage about her new book Love Lifted Me. "If you haven't read the book, you need to go read it," she told CMT Radio. "It's very much a story about overcoming, forgiveness, redemption and really understanding the whole idea behind, 'Human beings will always let you down but God never will.'" She also says that her songs tell stories, but that the books do so in a different way, by looking backward while moving forward. "It's about chasing dreams, endless country roads, and tender faith," she said.
