Thank you for starting this petition. I just cannot get used to this new jumble of posts, Please bring back the old style forums. The old style forums were far more user friendly, with easy to find topics etc. Please bring the more conventional style back, "new" is not always better.

I'd really like to see the old-style forums come back. This new way of posting is very disorganized. I liked being able to post and find threads in particular topics. Even just having the post with the newest comments moved to the top of the page was helpful.
Count me in as well. I think for real fans, the traditional-style forum is better. It lets have real conversations and talk about topics with some substance, rather than just a quick post. But, if someone just wants to make a quick post, they can still do that in the traditional forum as well.
I think the best part of the old forums was the ability to post a review AND the pictures of a concert in one thread. With the more modern software, we've lost that ability. It would be very awesome if the forums could come back and if they wanted to keep some of this more modern looking stuff around for guests to post, then that's cool too. :-)
I've been to several concerts since the roll out of this new software and I haven't posted much about them because whatever you post is easy to get buried soon. At least with the forums, things could be posted in a category. We don't have that ability here, unfortunately.

Thanks everyone for adding their comments. We may get a few more before this topic drifts off the page, but it looks like this is about it.
I might just have to go about this the old fashioned way and write an actual letter with a pen and paper (or at least print one out that they can read) and drop it in the mail.
Hope to see you all in a real forum some time, discussing the latest Sara CD! Thanks again to everyone that took the time to comment.

I am new (well kinda) to Sara's fan club so this is all I know. I had a free account sometime back and it seems like that was a different style but it has been sooooo long since I was here, I'm not really sure. Anyway, I am a member on several fan clubs and I too prefer the traditional boards where there is a little more organization and a SEARCH feature. I feel like I am kinda wondering around aimlessly looking for information :(
I know I'm a newbie but even so, I wanted to put my 2 cents in.

It's painfully obvious that most of us long time FC members don't post as much as we used to. I suspect that a lot of you stay current on Facebook, but since I have a problem with Facebook, I don't use it. Nothing against those that do, just a personal choice for personal reasons. I Truly miss the old communication we once had.
looking for anything seems like a real mess this way. Some type of structured forum would be great. I find myself not even caring to try to navigate thru this type of setup for posts.
The new format seems to be more similar to a twitter, or a 'hey, sara's going to be on the CMT Awards on Wednesday' and that's about it, not allowing fans to post their in-depth review of a concert, or link in pictures and reviews in a single, more complex thread.
Looks like we're all out of luck. I run a few separate forums (message boards) and I know the bandwidth and hosting doesn't cost all that much. I really wish they would reconsider bringing the forums back. It looks like this experiment isn't working all that well. As a previous poster up above said, I use Facebook too to keep up with most Sara fans now. I seldom post here. It's too bad.
