Besides Sara, I belong to a few other country artist's club websites. Like Sara's it seems every year or so they have to do a redesign of the site. Each redesign seems to be not as good as the predecessor, at least for the things I think most people want to see. That is - view fan pics of Sara, view fan posts and and follow up posts, Tour dates. (no problem with Tour dates on new site.
Anyway, I'll be patient and look forward to see what adjustments are made.

I would not give up on it entirely. It's change, which is a part of life. It's more like Facebook than anything. Navigating through it is a huge change, but not impossible. My hope is that the information here is constantly refreshed, so the loyal fans continue to feel included.
I agree. I think sometimes
I agree. I think sometimes keeping it smaller is better. I loved the message boards and how easy it was to just go to one place and have everything there. Sometimes it is too hard to go through every thing to make sure you are staying current and time is not available. I do like that we are able to comment on each of the events and such, but I feel like there is WAY too much to be able to post on the site. I am also not sure if I like that community members and fan members get pretty much the same access.. So far I have not seen this site being on top of things again.. like the Rascal Flats shows.. they are already posted on their site and this site has not even announced she is touring with them...

Too bad that they couldn't
Too bad that they couldn't find another act for Sara to tour with. The majority of people that I have talked to don't really care for Rascal Flatts. I know that the exposure will be good for Sara but I think she could get that by making the rounds of TV talk shows. I have noticed that more and more country artists are doing that when they release a new CD. I more than likely will not go to see Sara "open" for Rascal Flatts just because I can't stand the thought of them getting one dime from me!

I am not a big fan of Rascal Flats either, but I love Sara more then I dislike them. So, if Sara opens for them and it's close enough to drive, we will be there!

I agree... I doubt I will go to any of them either. I considered it but... I don't like the fact of Sara opening for them when Sara is the one I want to see not RF.
I too have been a part of
I too have been a part of many fan clubs from different artist in the past. Although, I am a new fan club member yet a huge fan of Sara since 1998 -- I wasn't expecting this at all. I glad we have a video section, ability to comment on ppl. blogs, artist news etc. M&G chances & tix access. I, however am shocked she has no message board. I find boards a great way to connect with others fans, get announcements and other news on the artist's career. I hate to being this up, but I was a part of LeAnn Rimes for yeara and love chatting with her and other fans.
My point is the site may look great, but doesn't have as many features as I hoped it would. Sadly, if changes don't happen, I may not renew next year.

Yeah I have to admit I'm not very impressed with this fanclub. I'm also a member of Martina's and Lady A's, and Martina's is by far best. I don't see any difference at all between being a community member and a fanclub member here and it kinda feels like I've wasted money on something I was getting for free anyway. Hopefully some tweaks are made in the near future to make it more appealing to become a fanclub member, because I can see it being off putting to potential members.
