Debating to renew or not next month..

It's up to you to decide. I do have some friends in Martina's Fan Club that are from Nebraska and we visit about Sara and then I have to visit about Martina and they say Martina's M&G's are rushed as well. They also said that one FC member from Martina's is chosen for M&G, where Sara picks 8. They don't care how fast the M&G goes, they just love Martina and nothing will take them away from being in her FC. Same goes for me with Sara! It's Management that regulates the M&G's, not Sara. She'd visit with you if she didn't have to follow guidelines set by her team. Anyway, SE Forever! Good Luck.

Joe: It's up to you. Just to give you some perspective...Sometimes, the M&G can be rushed because there are so many people there to meet Sara. I've been at M&Gs where there were 50 people in line. Before they changed the FC site, it used to be more of a community where people posted all kinds of good stuff about Sara...lots of photos, concert reviews and links to information. We were like a little family, but that has changed.

I've had several M&G's with Sara and you have to make the most of it. I always try and say something to make her laugh when I first walk up. The last time I handed her my "Three Chords and the Truth" CD Cover and said "This kind of dates me" She laughed and said "Me Toooo"! She signed it and I thanked her and she thanked me. It's not much, but making I love making her laugh. I just say make the very most of it. The FC has changed and I think a lot of the members keep in touch by Facebook and other media. It's not like the old FC, but things change. I think you should stay.

I'd renew; and agree with what others said above; and as AM said, the site itself is not as community friendly as the old site was; but it's still one way to stay in touch w/ your Sara friends and get info from Sara / her management.
Martina's and Miranda's M&G's are pretty similar to Sara's. Martina's Fan Club Parties are usually pretty unique; At the 2 of Miranda's FCP's that we've been to; she did group photos and no autographs. (although Sara usually doesn't do autographs at the FCP, but does do individual pix.) We're no longer in Miranda's FC, so don't have info for last several years.

Yeah Joe, know what you mean. Met Sara at a M&G about 10 years ago before a show at a small venue in Lincoln NE. It was awesome, she was very kind and sweet and she had the time to chat with us for a minute -it was great experience. The last time we met Sara was in Columbia (MO.) in 2011 was not so good. After a really hot, outdoor summer concert (she'd been on stage for like 90 minutes and I'm certain was hot and tired) we waited in line, with A LOT of other fans. When we did get to meet Sara, it was rushed and unpleasant. It was terrible, we left the show kind of stunned and disillusioned. I talked with and then sent a follow up note to her new management company about the experience. No response. Hey, everybody has a bad day, but "predictable is preventable". In my opinion; there were too many M&G issued for promo purposes. It should have be done before the show, I'm sure all she wanted to do was go home after performing in the heat and humidity for almost 2 hrs. Hope they've figured it out. Causing M&G's to be a bad experience for fans (and) artists is always a bad idea!!!! John V.
