I keep watching for some summer dates to be posted, but haven't seen anything yet. Anyone out there know when they will be posted? I need to go to a Sara concert soon!
My wife and I saw Sara in concert last night in Biloxi, it was phenomenal, GREAT concert, beautiful voice, and the band was awesome, one of the best shows we have seen yet!!
Yeah,my husband wanted to drive down there for that show, but we live in Indiana, and we try to only go to shows where we can drive back the same night. I'm sure it was great and I would have loved to have been there.
I was there at Biloxi. I made the trip from Sacramento, CA. I was in the second row and walked up to the stage with my SARA FAN license plate and held it in front of Sara and looked back at the crowd. It was pretty cool. She shook my hand after I had another fan club member, Greg, grab a picture for me. The concert was fun and Sara and the band sounded great as usual. It's sad though that it's one of Jonathan Lawson's last shows. I think he's only with the band another few weeks or so.
I've heard from a couple of reliable sources that Sara may be touring with Rascal Flatts this Summer. I don't think it's finalized yet, so don't quote me. However since she already "subbed in" as an opening act last Fall with Rascal Flatts, I think it's a good possibility that this will happen. I just hope they'd give her more time for her show. The opening set I saw last Fall seemed pretty abbreviated compared to her usual shows (less stories, less songs, probably a litle over 45 minutes compared to 1 hour, 15 minutes for a regular concert).
I'm thinking that Flatts should open for Sara! I mean, this girl should not be opening for anyone. It should be equal billing in my opinion. For me, she has both female and male singers out there beat all to heck. No one can compete with her voice. Just sayin'
Rascal Flats team has said Sara is going to be touring with them in California in Sept (they are already selling tickets for the shows as well) 300$ for front row! EEEEKKK WAY TO EXPENSIVE!!! and I dont care for Rascal Flatts =[ sad so far the only time she is coming to Cali, I cant go to any of the shows... sorry but Lawn seats are just not the same as front row =[
