What did everyone think? Sara just schooled everyone in how to deliver a classic song.

We're having "bad" weather

We're having "bad" weather here in Oklahoma. I was so excited to see her perform but when she came on stage, a tornado warning alert flashed on the screen cutting out a minute of it and then our news channel cut out the rest of her performance so I missed the whole thing and needless to say i'm not the happiest person right now lol. Someone PLEASE tell me that it will be on youtube later! =/

Sara knocked it out of the

Sara knocked it out of the park!

WONDERFUL interpretation Sara, your voice was made for classic country!

I totally agree! Her

I totally agree! Her performance was stellar! Her vocals were dead on and she belted that song better than anyone else could have. The others need to sit back with their pen and paper and take notes.

Its nice to know that at

Its nice to know that at least someone in Nashville remembers their country roots. If I were a multimillionaire (ha), I'd pay for Sara to do a project like Martina's Timeless - only with bluegrass classics.

IMO, Sara doesn't need to do

IMO, Sara doesn't need to do what Martina did. Sara already has her own version of Timeless, called Three Chords and the Truth, which is miles ahead of Timeless.

I am a huge fan of Patty

I am a huge fan of Patty Loveless' classic country covers album Sleepless Nights, as well as Martina's Timeless. Listening to these makes me think Sara would also excel at a similar project. But I too had a similar thought, in a way Sara has already given us one with Three Chords and The Truth..which includes some classic covers as well as some brilliant SE origninals which SOUND like timeless classics. Still, always room for one more, the classics cry out to be covered by Sara's pure Country voice!

You won't get any arguments

You won't get any arguments from me about Three Chords and the Truth. That album gets more play than any other I own. But country radio has no interest in that type of music these days, hence my offer to finance it with my own (imaginary) money.

By the way, Martina had The Time Has Come and still did Timeless, so Sara's not off the hook yet!

On Patty Loveless - we could talk all day. They could have used her for the Loretta Lynn tribute, too.

after a hard and dusty day

after a hard and dusty day working in the yard it was nice of Sara to help me get some of that dirt outta my eyes there at the end of her performance.....

I just can not help myself

I just can not help myself from saying this, and it is obviously my own personal opinion, but Sara totally has Martina and Reba beat on vocals. And I thought Underwood forced her performance to maybe try to size up to Sara's performance. I had tears at the end of Sara's song. It was insanely powerful and just crazy, over-the-moon Amazing! I just wanted to hug her after she sang! There is no one out there with a voice like Sara's. Her control is unbelievable, perfect pitch and she has the audience eating out of her hands. So, that is what I thought. There will never be any artist above Sara Evans on my list.
