As Sara Evans officially hit the airwaves this week with her inspiring new single, “A Little Bit Stronger,” fans are already reacting to the song in a big way. The digital single for “A Little Bit Stronger” released on September 14, earning a Top 10 debut on Billboard’s Country Digital Songs chart, and now in its second week, “A Little Bit Stronger” has already amassed total sales approaching 30,000 downloads according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The original motion picture soundtrack to the feature film, Country Strong, is set to release on October 26, and the complete list of artists and songs has been announced today. Film stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim McGraw, Garrett Hedlund, and Leighton Meester all contribute tracks to the collection, with one song each from Hedlund and Meester and four songs featuring Paltrow, including the title track single – at country radio now – and “Me and Tennessee,” a duet with McGraw, written by Paltrow’s husband, Chris Martin.
