Sara re-records Iconic Libby's Jingle celebrating family dinners

In an effort to encourage families to Get Back to the Table, multi-platinum RCA Recording Artist, Sara Evans is adding her famous voice and trademark country style to the famous lyrics of the Libby’s iconic jingle:

 

“When it says Libby’s, Libby’s, Libby’s on the label, label, label”

 

“I grew up on a big farm in Missouri and family dinners together make up my most cherished childhood memories. Today, as a busy mom, I make it a personal goal to cook and sit down for family dinnertime at least three times a week,” stated Evans. “That’s why I jumped at the chance to remake this jingle – it’s really a celebration of one of the simple joys of life – time as a family”

 

Evans, the first-ever celebrity to record the tune, is partnering with Libby’s Vegetables to designate September as Get Back to the Table Month – a celebration of the many social and economic benefits of family dinnertime. The campaign kicks off on September 1, 2008 with Evans’ modern country version of the jingle debuting on country music stations nationwide.  Fans of Sara Evans can also log onto GetBacktotheTable.com to hear the new jingle, as well as a bonus version.

Also launching September 1, 2008 on GetBacktotheTable.com is a nationwide contest that will give one lucky family the chance to have dinner with Sara Evans backstage at one of her concerts.  Moms and dads can submit their stories and creative tips for getting their families together at dinnertime throughout the fall. The most creative tips will be posted online to be shared with families across the country once the contest ends on December 15, 2008.
